Clean but not friendly.

We have been to Bansko for a family ski trip and we chose Parklands because it has average grade 8.2 at Booking.com. But this rate for sure doesn’t not reflect what you gonna find. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, which has 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed at living room. Double bed was ok, nothing fancy, but sofa bed, when it becomes a bed, it was very disgusting, poor mattress, we were lucky because our kids (8 & 5 yo) slept at sofa, otherwise we should look for medical assistance back home for our back. Its quite a familiar hotel, few staff, everything is quite primitive, nothing really fancy at all. Food is simple but tasty, few options at breakfast and dinner with only local food and very restricted options. Staff in general don’t speak english, and this becomes an offense for some of them when you don’t speak Bulgarian, specially at restaurant, when you ask simple questions like: “Can I have wine list? Or “do you prepare omelete?” At this moment they start to shout at you, making gestures in local language, which you can’t understand, but easily identify as something offensive as per their voice raising. I wouldn’t say I wont come back, but if I have another option, definitely I would go to another place.

Brilliant Christmas in Bansko at Parklands

We've recently returned from a fantastic stay of 10 nights at Parklands, spending Christmas there. The apartment was super spacious and well laid out with great views of the Pirin mountains from the rooms and the balconies (our 2 bedroom apartment had 3 balconies!). The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent with plenty of choice from the buffet and a la carte menus. The kids loved the huge swimming pool, and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. We look forward to returning soon! Highly recommended!

Parklands Hotel Bankso

Just returned from a long weekend in Bansko staying in the Parklands Hotel. I have been to Bansko many times now and stayed in numerous hotels over the years, this has to be the best accommodation by far! Rooms well equipped and a good size, staff very friendly, nothing was too much problem for them, 5-10mins walk to the main bar/restaurant area and the main gondola Will def be using these guys again

Don't stay here !!

Soo the hotel is quite nice, the pool and spa area is nice and clean. The rooms are terrible-the bed is like concrete!! With a tiny duvet and sheet that don't fit the bed!! There was toothpaste splatter on the mirror when we arrived... what looked like wet toilet paper thrown on the tiled walls The kitchen isn't wired in, so you can't use the oven if you wanted to cook for yourself. The food was disgusting they literally had nothing ! 2 dishes at a push in the evening, which were luke warm and looked like it had been reheated days in a row, NOT once were we offered a drink (not even water) at our table for dinner.... (why wouldnt they try and sell drinks im not sure) they even hide the water machine so you dont use it !! Breakfast was ridiculous-using left over pasta from the night before for breakfast. The staff were quite rude, waiting over 10 mins at the bar while other staff watched us wait !!! The staff just look like they can't be bothered with you or anyone, not helpful at all. There were lots of problems with the shuttle to the ski lifts, not being there, not being at the collection point , saying they were there when there were more than 2 or 3 familys all there waiting just didn't turn up but reception would say it was there etc ....it's just alot of hassle that you don't need. So we ended up spending a fortune eating out, I wouldn't let a dog eat there let alone my children!!
