Ottima esperienza

Abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento distaccato dall’hotel , non era vicinissimo ma attraversando la zona pedonale di Alagna la passeggiata è stata anche piacevole ! Cena ottima e curata , colazione varia e tutto freschissimo , nel buffet abbiamo apprezzato oltre alla parte dolce e salata, con vari affettati , focaccia fresca , frutta ecc . anche i formaggi tipici. Personale gentile , sempre solare e i ragazzi in sala molto carini e simpatici !!! Siamo riusciti anche a trascorrere un’oretta nella spa , piscina molto accogliente e pulita . Hotel in zona molto comoda , vicino agli impianti e alla camminata del centro con i tipici Walser che solo a guardarli trasmettono pace , sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo . Molto ma molto gentili anche con il nostro cagnolino , sia in hotel ma anche nel ristorante in cui una sera ci hanno mandato nelle vicinanze e hanno anche portato una ciotola con acqua !!! Io e mio marito , ringraziamo tutto lo staff per la pazienza dimostrata con noi e i nostri bambini !!! A presto !

Non ci tornerò sicuramente

Hotel con camera bella spaziosa e pulita. E qua sono finite le cose positive. Personale reception non pervenuto con orari di apertura non in linea con un hotel 4 stelle. Colazione con nessun prodotto tipico o artigianale ma solo industriale e pure di media qualità ( succo d’arancia addirittura a pagamento). Dicono di avere la spa ma sarebbe meglio definirla piscina ( manco calda) con mini sauna, assenza dí accappatoio e ciabatte in camera . Un 4 stelle non può avere a disposizione solo 5 sdraio in croce. Frigo bar vuoto ( magari una bottiglia d’acqua potevano pure offrirla). Non presente manca un sacchetto per il cambio biancheria. Ristorante caro, con poca varietà , nessun piatto per bimbi e porzioni scarse. Al limite della presa in giro visto il costo applicato e la fame e fine cena. Prezzo camera non in linea con il servizio offerto.

Ruined skiing holiday with friends

I not recommend this hotel to anyone for a vacation. Our experience was: 1. We did‘t receive dinner on day of arrival. We understand that we arrived late. We did‘t expect hot meals, but for our request to prepare a small snacks hotel staff did‘t respond. 2. We didn't get two rooms (from 5) for two days (from 6) – hotel staff moved us to apartments house in another location. It hapent at arrival day, because hotel have overbook at weekend time. We booked our stay in this hotel 3 months ago. I'm pretty sure that hotel staff sold these rooms after when we booked our stay. The other place was bad quality old apartment house without spa services, we had to walk to breakfast and dinner through town to hotel where stay another our friends . As I remember, our booking and payment was for a hotel with breakfast, dinner and spa. 3. One of our colleague did‘t come with us to hotel at all due to family accident (wife‘s disease). He had booked room for himself. Hotel no offered us this room at arrival, they kept moving us to another place. 4. One of our colleague did‘t come to the hotel at all due to family accident and reported to hotel about this on the morning of the day of arrival, but he had to pay 100% according to the hotel's requirement. This order price for 6 days was including breakfast and dinner. I think is normal minimum to deduct breakfast and dinner from total price. 5. One of our colleagues did‘t come to the hotel at all due to family accident. The payment for this room was very rudely demanded from us, although our colleague booked his room independently and I just recommended this hotel. 6. The dinners in this hotel restaurant are of extremely poor quality: the food is poorly prepared, the portions are extremely small, the composition of the food is not varied. I have never had such bad food in Italy! I am convinced that the food in Italy is the best in the world. But not here... 7. Restaurant staff not served our dinner until all 9 members of our group arrived. We booked 5 rooms in hotel, we all paid for hotel and food separately, but dinner is not available to get separately! In general we didn't book a table for dinner for 9 people, we booked 9 places in the hotel with dinner! Staff explained the problem: chef of the restaurant did‘t allow us to eat separately because he was too busy... Really busy? The occupancy of the restaurant was max 20 percents all 6 days of our stay. And finally: the hotel is averagely good (interior, renovation), but nobody waits for customers here. The whole problem is the hotel staff. When hotel received our collegue payment for unused room and not eaten dinner, staff didn't even come to say goodbye...

Disappointing cancellation treatment

I was due to stay at the Hotel Cristallo for 6 days but unfortunately my ski group had to cancel our trip to Alagna. As per the hotel policy, I paid the full price (over €1,000) upfront 2 months before arrival. I was informed by the hotel that the cancellation policy was a "50% charge up to 14 days before arrival date" and that if I cancelled the reservation the hotel would try to sell my room to avoid the penalty. I cancelled the reservation with 10 days notice. When the arrival date passed I was instead then told that the cancellation policy actually meant a "50% charge MORE THAN 14 days before arrival date", that I would be charged 90% of the payment (so only receive a 10% refund) and that despite the hotel selling the room for one night of my stay there would be no refund on this night only a voucher. The rest of my group managed to cancel their separate hotels in Alagna with only a €100m charge or no charge at all. So please be careful if booking given the hotel policy!
